My Boys
When you are a kid growing up you get to find some really good friends. Being in school is the perfect time to make friends and get to know people. As you get older, the amount of people that you meet decreases considerably. At least for me that has always been the case. I keep making friends with people that have nothing in common with me. I would like to say, that when I was younger, I was one of the most popular kids in town and my school. A home town hereof, that’s me. Captain of the Football and Baseball team. School president, good grades, my girlfriend was the captain of the cheerleaders, homecoming king. I had it all going for me and I think that I had hundreds if not thousands of friends. Now, my best friend is my wife and child. I work at home and don’t really get out much to hang out with the “boys”. It just goes to show that the real friends, the ones that you can count on will be there for life, no matter what happens in life. I have left, and moved away for years at a time, and then came home, and nothing changed between us. Everything was just the same. Good friends are the best to have for your lifetime.
